My Weekend: Tattoos, Graduation, and Golden Retrievers!

I went back to Oklahoma last Thursday to see my sister’s high school graduation. Her graduation present was a tattoo (her first) – we chose to get matching tattoos, the word ‘sister’ in French*.

She put hers on her hip:

I put mine on my neck:

Unfortunately, I have no pics of the finished products, my sister has them. But I continued on – to get one done on my forearm:

And finished – I know it looks tilted but it’s because I was twisting my arm so I could take the picture with one hand! The red/yellow flower is the Oklahoma state wildflower (the Indian Blanket) and the state flower of Illinois (the Violet):

After the tattoos, I was in the middle of an awful, awful migraine/allergy attack – so I missed all my friends 😦 and just hung out with my puppy (I use that word lightly) Harley:

Eventually, I pulled myself together to see my sister graduate! :

Back in Chicago now and moving to NYC on Friday!
